Biking in Ayer

Joined the "bike fellowship" today. No one else RSVPed this week, so it was just me, nightskyre, and the pastor, on the longest bike ride I've made in at least 10 years, from Ayer to Nashua and back on the Nashua River Rail Trail. Then, we came home and worked on the house! (Ugh.) We also took the cover off the pool, hooked up the filter and pump, and then realized that we need another 6-8 inches of water in the pool... we'll be using the hose for the next day or so to fill it up.

Miles biked today: 22

Hey, you were up by my parents! They live walking distance to the rail trail in Pepperell. I was up there today myself, visiting for father's day. Its a long trail, but I know people who do it all the time. Its suppose to be really nice since they paved it over, kids used to ride on it for years when it was just an old rail trail.

It is nice - paved and smooth, and no hills up or down. It makes for an easy ride (the distance made it harder).
