3 frozen chicken breasts, cut in half (to make 6 pieces)
4-5 potatoes, scrubbed, dried, and cut into large pieces
1 large onion, quartered
a few handfuls of baby carrots
1 can of condensed cream soup (I used cream of chicken)
1/2 can of water
I put this in the crockpot on low at 7:30, came home at 5:45, and it smelled great! The sauce was a little thin, so I took the lid off and put it on high for 20 minutes while I made biscuits. I also added frozen peas at that time, to give it a little color and more nutrition.
The chicken and potatoes were just falling apart, and the carrots were pretty mushy (even the ones that looked burnt were still very moist).
Next time, I think I will try a little less liquid; maybe 2 cans of soup instead of soup + water. And I'll try to make sure all the carrots are buried underneath instead of scattered on top.
Makes enough for 4 large-ish servings.
