I need to fix my computer.. and my bike

Well, galadriel (my iBook) has had its first major accident. I was just getting ready to work for the evening, and had plugged the ethernet cable in. nightskyre tripped over the ethernet cable, not only pulling it out in the middle of what i was doing, but also breaking off a little tiny piece of plastic that holds the cable into the computer.. yes, that's right, he didn't break the piece off of the cord, which would have been cheap to replace.... instead, it broke off of the jack. So I'm annoyed, and he feels bad, as he's already been having a klutzy day. He promises me that we'll go to some Mac place this weekend and find out how much it will be to fix. imotic asks me if it's still under warranty. I don't even know.

Other news: my new bike is a POS.... I finally realised why the brakes were squeaking so much - the freaking rims of the wheels are plastic!! So, now that I fixed the back brakes so that they dont' squeal constantly while I'm riding (which also means they hardly work now), I need to figure out what I can do about this problem... I guess I'll just have to live with it for a while, as I don't have the money to buy new parts. Hell, who am I kidding, I didn't have the money to buy the bike in the first place! Ah well, such is life... all sorts of things I have to spend money on, and no money to spend. Maybe I need to get another credit card, although I am very hesitant to do anything that encourages me to spend more money than I have. Hope I get a paycheck soon. Which reminds me, I need to get to work.
