What's going on.

So here's the skinny. I feel like I'm doing pretty poorly in my AI (artificial intelligence) class. As a previous entry implies, I spent about 30 hours all told on the last homework (and couldn't get it to work completely), and I'm not even sure I understand the next one.

On top of the difficulties I'm having in class, this is the most intensive term of my MQP. I don't think I'm going to be able to manage both, and I'd certainly like to do well on my MQP, unlike the C we got last term. So, I'm faced with a choice. Either try to do both, and risk doing poorly or even failing my MQP... or drop AI. It sounds like an easy choice, but I don't want to add to the courses that I'm going to have to take after this year's over. I'm really unsure whether I can afford it, especially because I'm not confident of my prospects for a "real" job.

I'm going to talk to the professor for AI now, for help on this homework (since I don't even know where to start). I should probably call each of my parents and talk over this situation with them. It's so frustrating...
