My life as journaled

Because I'm boring like that

My relationship with God has its ups and downs. This is normal. However, I wonder if it is at all normal that the ups last only days, but the downs last months or even years.

Psalm 66:18 "If I had cherished sin in my heart, the Lord would not have listened;" maybe that's why I'm so far off right now. But there is a certain sin I have been struggling with for years. I'm sure that's standing in my way.

I don't know...

I don't know what to do.

Pray... Talk... Smile...

All relationships in our lives consist of ups and downs. Sometimes they're even, sometimes they're not. Lots of people have longer downs than ups, especially in their faith and relationships with God, during our time of life. Don't kill yourself over this, just make an effort. Pray about it, talk to others about it, and most importantly, get on with your life, and be happy.

I'm sure I don't know or understand you as well as I used to, but I know you're a very strong person, and you've got another great guy to support you now. Don't underestimate how much it can help to talk to someone who cares about you that much, even if they might tell you things you don't want to hear. But also don't forget that everyone is different, and not only that, but that we all change every day. It helps make things interesting :)

Oh wait, silly me, I've gone and forgotten that women want sympathy, not help, when they complain. Just ignore the rest of that and don't worry, everyone goes through this. *puts on sympathetic face* I hope that covers that :)
